Russian Railways sells railcar repair unit VRK-3 for 8.65 bln rbl

MOSCOW, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways has sold a 100% minus one share stake in railcar repair company VRK-3 to Business Optima for 8.65 billion rubles, the company said in a statement on Thursday.

The auction was organized under a program of non-core assets sale.

VTB was the organizer. The starting price was 7.016 billion rubles. Russian Railways tried to sell the asset earlier but the auction was cancelled.
